if you do it right....everything you own is considered an 'asset' and everything has an associated 'cost'
For example, my parents on my first fafsa claimed laptops as an asset and calculated the associated cost. I have even seen people claiming their pets as an asset on loans and such.

Is that what they mean by asset? I definitely did not do that kind of crap on my FAFSA. I just reported by 1040EZ information and said I didnt have assets in terms of financial savings instruments, large property holdings etc. I dont think it wants you to give an item by item list of all the shit you own and how much theyre worth, which woudl be hard to calculate anyways.

There were about 9-12 apps. They reviewed the first three, called two people, hired one. If it wasn't for my persistence in trying to find out if the position was available I would have never known that it was filled.
So, now I have to find a lessthandesirable job. Most people in the network of friends and family all believe I am screwed because I don't have any work experience or skills. I also don't fake emotions or attitudes.

I am terrible at the fake emotions and excitement thing too, but just do it for the interview. If you really want the job, you will do it. Once you actually get the job, you can revert back to your old self.

I'm sure someone has mentioned it already since this thread is OLD, but super noobs can do this. I am doing landscaping (I'm not a noob, I chose to do this for the experience and constitution points) Anyone who is physically able can do this job. It is hard physically, but you get used to that in a few weeks, and the things you have to do aren't very hard. It gets you in good shape and you get used to working in the heat (it was 100 today)
