I liked the Audi R8 commercial, more...although I know I'll never be able to buy an R8.
It is a Halo product, much like the Acura NSX that also got a Super Bowl commercial. Cars like that exist to ignite the desires of boys of all ages, so that way the brand in your mind has a positive connotation when you go to shop for a practical car to actually drive every day.
Halo products were a big thing during the Super Bowl. We saw the Amazon Echo which is Amazon's current consumer product hit. We also saw a commercial for the LG OLED tvs which are the ultimate halo devices- they exist to bait and switch regular TV consumers.
