Been a long three months since our last Championship. I actually thought NE would win by 10 but not 13-3. Can't believe how good the defense was. Number SIX!!!!

Yea, both defenses were playing like mad dogs. I think in the last 7:00 of the 4th the Rams started to look gassed, those counter-pull runs started to hit home for the Pats. The fact that the Rams offense could not stay on the field had to factor into that.

Patriots have appeared in 11 of the 53, last I checked the Steelers have only been to 8. J/k the Steelers are a historic franchise and I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Rooney family. They were smart to move their franchise to the AFC along with the original Browns when the leagues merged before that the Steelers were yearly losers like the modern day Browns.

ESPN has a good article on how Belichick's defensive scheme of running a 6-2 front just shut-down the run while keeping the Goff guessing on who was going to be rushing. They were able to put some much pressure on Goff that he went 0-6 on all of his passes 20+ yds and never allowed to feel comfortable. Pats secondary played great and though they play man to man almost more than any other team, they played zone almost half the game also confusing Goff.

May have been boring game due to no offense but the defenses on both teams came up with game plans that confused the other. The Rams didn't make any adjustments during the game. But New England with their time of possession slowly wore down the Rams defense going into the 4th Qtr. They also sent out their power running group which caused the Rams to keep their base defense out there but NE lined up both their FB and RB as WRs which gave allowed Brady to finally drive down the field for the game winning TD.

Well I can honestly say I'm glad I didn't waste a single minute of time yesterday watching this boring game.

The defenses weren't playing with passion? GTFO of here. There was some great secondary play in the game last night by both teams. And Edelman looked like a mad man out there.

At the family Christmas party the Patriots fan spouted off about the 5 time super bowl champion Patriots. I replied "I remember when we had 5 rings." He got quiet after that.
