Well I finally got the hd that OD should have delivered.
On Tues, OD delivered an opened box hd to me. I immediately called them and was told someone would call me about an even exchange. Surprise, no one ever did. I called back and the csr I spoke with set up a new order with notes that it was actually an even exchange and to apply the $20 coupon and an add'l $10 for my trouble.
Today OD picks up the hd they delivered but doesn't bring me a replacement. I call back again and csr says no one can give her any answers. She says she'll call me back. Surprise, she never did.
I called back a little while ago and this time got a csr that went above and beyond. He said the system showed the replacement was cancelled by someone and that now the hd's show as store pick up only. By now I start to raise my voice. He called the Cerritos store and they had gotten 2 in. He explained the situation to the Mgr, asked him to hold one for me and to apply a $20 coupon and give me another $10 off. Mgr said no problem. After 2 days of getting the run around, I now have my hd. Oh, don't bother calling the Cerritos OD, they don't have anymore. Within the 10 mins it took me to get there, someone else put the other hd on hold.
My story gets better...While I was talking to the csr he looked at the return order for the orignal hd. He said the system showed I paid $75.76 but they credited me $97.41 :Q I told him the csr noted that I used a $20 coupon so they'll make an adjustment and credit me what I paid. He said it didn't matter what she noted, he was looking at a $97 credit issued back to me. I guess I'll find out in a few days when the credit hits my cc.
