So to use the 20$ off 75$ coupon I have to buy online right? If not how could I use the coupon at the store?

Nartnad, I think you can just buy the hard drive tomorrow, return it with your receipt from yesterday, then submit the rebate with your box from yesterday and receipt from tomorrow. Hope that's not too confusing.

Much better idea!

Nartnad - I don't think they will take an open box product (or take it along with some restocking fee and stuff).

Excellent find!! This looks to be an nice clean deal assuming the $10 instant takes effect. It's refreshing to find a hot deal that doesn't involve some long drawn out PM negotiation that relies of getting a CSR that doesn't follow the stores policy!!

Don't worry about the Express Group. I've dealt with them for years as a manufacturer. They're a fine fullfilment house but payment speed is dependent on them getting the marketing funds from the retailer and/or manufacturer who's sponsoring the rebate.

How on earth are you supposed to use that instore rebate ($10) and online-only coupon ($20) on the same purchase? Is there something that I don't know? Are you supposed to do this in the store or online?

Hey!!

Great deal!!....But I have a quesrtion? How come when I load up the original link to the Office Depot ad, I see a price of $109.99and NOT$99.99as was originally stated??

What gives??

Is this "selective" cookies similar to the crap Amazon is pulling? I cleaned my cache and History and STILL see the higher price.

Please explain: 20$ off 75$ coupon. You can't use that at their store right? It is only for purchasing on their site correct?

The 10$ IR will be taken off automatically?

Then the other two 30$ rebates are the only ones for mail correct?

I've gotten Office Depot to honor to coupon in the store. Just print out your shopping cart with the coupon discount shown, and go to the store and show the CSR. Tell them you didn't feel comfortable using your credit card on the internet.

*Ahem*

OK..so I "misunderstood the damn post. So sue me!!! Sheeeeeesh...you people can sure be a little quick with the "stupid" responses to a simple question.

I thought by saying that the deal didn't begin until tomorrow, that it was in reference to the date the rebate would take effect. I didn't think about the price that is ALREADY linked to at Office Depot would actually change as well. I made a simple assumption that maybe the math was incorrect or posiibly cookies were at work here.

Thanks for the heads up...but I could have done without the childish name-calling.

'Nuff Said.

Yes please answer his question. I am confused on the 20$ coupon STILL. You print out my "shopping cart". But I can't find a way for it to show up in my cart with the coupon attach before I purchase it. If I go to jumpondeals.com and click on the 20$ coupon it tells me I won't see the coupon till after I purchase. If that is the case how do I get both the 10$ and 20$?

Anyone know what ATA standard the hammer chipsets will use? I'm gonna build another computer next spring/summer, and this looks like a deal en fuego, but I don't need the drive now, but i'm gonna need a hd for my next computer...Just wait until then, or buy this now? right now i have a 40 gb hard drive and only ~10 gb is used.

look at this

tommorow, the price will show as $99.99 instead of $109.99, so after the coupon the price will be $79.99.

All I can say is...yowza! So many good deals lately! There's practically no reason not to run RAID these days...you can't tell me you can't afford a hard drive for backup purposes.

One Question?

The Maxtor rebate form (front page) says good for model L01J040G. When you pull up SKU 368-121 at OD it shows model ST0154000U.

Are these the same models?
