On the positive side, the 3700 has a 10x multiplier. Shouldn't have any problem reaching 2.5GHz with little stress on MB and RAM.

I pulled the trigger and just ordered it online which was 250.00 with 2nd day shipping and no tax. Not too bad and it comes out even to the amount of gas I would have had to spend to get to my "local" Fry's....
