This is a clearance item at Staples, and I think it started a couple of weeks ago. Last week, there was even a $50 rebate on it. Someone reported at FW that they were getting this monitor at 50% off clearance price PLUS a rebate AND a coupon. :Q

Well i went to staples on a whim that i might get lucky. Nope.... but I did find the last Vivicam 3725 marked down to 169.98. After $20 off and tax the total was $162.13. They even threw in a 2 yr warranty ($39 value) for free. Thanks for getting me off my butt.

Clearance here in Lex, KY was around $250 for Nec and Philips 15" LCD.s I got a NEC 17", 1700M+ for $450 - $30 coupon. Then I called NEC - Mits and spoke to a guy in promotions that agreed to extend the $50 rebate that just expired (he said they were going to re-run it anyway). So I'm happy since my Optiquest V95 just blew..

A lot of the clearance stuff at Staples can be priced differently. It depends on a few things (availablity at that store, the urge to get rid of them etc.) If there are a few available and they really want ot get rid of them then you might see the price get lower than what may ring up at the register. This isnt a hot deal cuz it would only be at that particular Staples as they are changing the price with their own discretion and most likely no one else will find a price as this one.

Heh, I put one of these on hold sunday-end of day monday so I could get a coupon and rebate info, but found out that the rebate ended saturday... I'm there first thing in the morning before they can put it back out.

The managers in Philadelphia are dicks, when I tried to buy my NEC 1530v, they only had the display model and the manager wouldnt even give me any $ off the display and she knew that I couldnt get the rebate without the box. So I bought it from a store a few miles down.
