Please!!! Tip your driver. He/She saves you time and you can give them a few dollars for that considering the risks they have to take.

Tipping the pizza guy/gal is fine if you want to...but I don't think ANYONE should be obligated. It's not our fault the delivery driver is a.....delivery driver!

acually you are wrong... when I used to be a delivey driver for a pizza place I could always remember the houses that tipped well... guess who got their pizza first when I had multiple deliveries to do at a time?

Hey where my parents live in Louisville, KY, the delivery drivers get paid around $15 per hour. I'm not tipping sh!t! I wish I was making that kind of money as a teen.

Really depends on the person doing deliveries: are they going to actually remember who tipped them last week, etc. I too did pizza deliveries and I can't ever say that I singled out any particular addresses because they tipped better or not. Usually, it was who was closest or would make the trip easier.

The deliveries to parties ALWAYS got me the best tips.

I only like to tip if I'm getting a lap dance out of it. Last time I inquired about this to the pizza guy he wasn't too hip to the idea. There's always next time!

If you don't tip, then make sure you never order from the same place more than 2 times. If you do decide to become a regular non-tipper, then don't get pissed off when your food is always late.

Cleaner, I bet you saw a sign that said $15 an hour or something like that. I bet the sign said "up to" in small letter before the $15. They probably include tips in the hourly rate.

This is how I used to make my deliveries.

First: Known tippers get their orders first. I don't care if it's the last order out of the oven and I have to drive by all the other delivers on the way.

Second: Unknown orders in white neighborhoods. 70% chance of tip here.

Third: Unknown orders in non-white neighborhoods. 1% chance of tip here. Black people just don't tip. I've had a few regulars that did tip, so they got moved up to the number 1 spot.

Fourth: Regular customers that I know will not tip. If you ordered every few days and never tipped, then I wanted you to get pissed off and stop ordering. Delivering to you was nothing more than a waste of my time and gas.

when I was a driver, I always remembered the good tipping houses. most of the other drivers were high all the time, so I doubt they remembered jack sh*t. I did make an effort to deliver to the good tippers first, then go down the line. If it was a new customer, I would always try to get it there really fast to make a good first impression and hopefully get a good tip. It worked most of the time. The hardest places to get a tip that I can remember were the trailer parks, and apartment buildings.
