This is my first HOT DEAL, I've gotten alot of great deals on here from forum members so I thought I'd give back !!!

My girlfriend called me on the phone (she works at wally world [wal-mart]) and was asking if "this" was any good... she picked me up one, her store in Duarte, CA. had three left (i told her to pick them up today if they were still there)

Anyway heres the deal:

Radeon 9000 64MB DDR AGP (Built By ATi) - $15 on Clearance was $79.84

Heres a picture of the box, I forgot to get receipt from her but I'm gonna try today... This is in the CLEARANCE paper from WAL-MART.

hmm.. hopefully there's one left, i'll swing by that store around 3pm and see if there are anymore left, thanks! they've been remodeling that place, kinda weird seeing it all gutted on that half of the store, that's the same store that ran out of the KDS 19" Flat CRT's last week. I got the KDS 17" for about $114 but I might return it since there's a 19" NEC at one of the office stores for the same price.

Correct! I am 99% sure you will not find this same deal at any other walmart.

Darn was just at walmart checking out their clearence on space heaters, some of them were less than $5. I got a nice deal, paid $22 for $60+ propane heater. But, I knew I should have followed my instincs and checked out the electronics section.

Sorry Dont know all the questions your asking me... I wasnt really even looking thru the paper... Girlfriend was.

She doesnt actually work for WAL-MART, she works at the Vision Center (that is NOT owned by wal-mart), INSIDE a wal-mart.

But everytime she calls me on these clearance deals, they ALL seem to be GREAT deals...

just not at all stores within the chain, and they take forever to drop (or don't)
the only thing i remember seeing at (all the stores) was that 128mb lexar sd card for $23.33 or whatever. man, that was a good deal! should have bought more (bought kodak dx4330 three wks later @ om deal)...
i did see some of those cards two weeks ago, but they were $45 (probably still are, if they're in stock -- boxes were beat up pretty badly)

Very YMMV. The local wal-mart has them on the shelf marked $79.99, but the price scans as $50.00. edit: i'm in CA (LA area).

Just visited 2 stores in S. Florida. $50 at both. The sticker also says "week 6", so I do not think that they were on clearance at the OP's store for longer than elsewhere. Perhaps, somebody made a mistake when entering the clearance price when printing that label.

That means my local walmart will have them for $120, next to the spot where they can't keep the 4x dvd burners on the shelf for $149 because idiots in my town will pay that much.
Oh well, it's always worth the drive to check out the clearance stuff.

well, i went by one today, on the way to visit my parents -- tag said $50.00 with a date of 3/10/04. didn't bother to scan
scanned some other stuff, lexar cf reader $17.00, date 10/04/03
now $15.00
for those who are frustrated with the lack of working scanners in wal-mart (me! me! me!), try the gift registry kiosk

but i didn't bother scanning the ati 9000, have never seen wal-mart drop a price that fast

Just checked my local mart (Madison, WI), it was $50 and OOS.

Maybe someone sayd "fifty" over the phone and it was misunderstood to be "fifteen" ? ; )
