I have one of the first boards (version 1002a). It is a 333fsb board bro, trust me. There is a big 333 on the box. The newer revisions support 400fsb though.

right now you are just making a fool of yourself...

I looked at the datasheet hours ago. So i'm right but I am still making a fool of myself? I think you don't get it. He said that this is not 4.3ns ram yet he has no proof of that whatsoever. The speed ratings on the hynix datasheet do not specify the ns (which isn't always listed anyway) or the max speed (which is never listed) just the default speed settings recommened by hynix. The given speeds for this type of ram rarely indicate performance unless you're talking about low quality chips such as spektek,TC,etc.

That being said, i'd like to see what speeds others are getting. I've been running 7-3-3-2.5 210 / 2.6v but having problems. I can't get this stick or two sticks of twinmos ch-5 stable in my system at any speed, the only stuff that is stable in this system is my old infineon ram. I'm thinkng in the end the mobo is to blame (I've been fighting this issue for some time) and i'll probably return the ram like I did the twinmos unless I can find a fix.

Yup!

You can express the speed of a chip either in MHz or in ns, where ns = 1000/MHz. Thus, if the spec sheet says the chips are 200MHz (DDR400) then their rated speed in nano seconds is 5ns.

I hope that is clear.

I think they say that so they can ship different brand chips on the modules.. a KVR333 512mb is not guaranteed with another KVR333 512mb, but if you make sure they use the same chips, it should be fine

I have used several different "sets" of Kingston Valueram in dual channel setups, and as long as the two chips match, I haven't had any problems.....

I got one stick running at 11-3-3-2.5 at 2.9v at 1:1 with a 200 FSB. I tried 11-2-2-2.5 but no go.

Has anyone managed to get this memory to DDR500 or up. My mobo is limiting me to CAS 2.5 so I can only run it stable at DDR450 @ cas 2.5. Almost all PC4000 modules are rated at CAS 3 @ 2.7 V.

Anyone have tried this as CAS 3?

Thanks.

my local OMax only had 4 sticks of this stuff, but they were all HY5DU56822BT-J chips...... bummer J = DDR 333 according to the specs on the Hynix site. I just never get lucky with these deals.....

$99.98 Kingston 512mb PC2700
-$20.00 Staples coupon
-$23.00 Kingston MIR
-$20.00 Office Max MIR
---------------
$36.98 after rebates.... not too bad of a price for 512mb of pc2700 with lifetime warranty IMHO

Are there really rebates for the 512MB? If so, got a link? I only see 256MB rebates in the officemax ad.

yeba, one more time. Please edit your top post to indicate that these are NOT the same chips used in Corsair PC4000 or Buffalo PC4300.

These are using HY5DU56822AT - D43 while Corsair and Buffalo are using HY5DU56822BT - D43

A is 2nd gen while B is 3rd gen. They DO NOT overclock the same whatsoever.

You can read some more here.

It's one thing to post a good deal and another to post false information to mislead ppl.
