So far so good on this case. The cooling is excellent, going to be very good for these hot Las Vegas days. Picked up a like new Antec 550 True control for $80. So, I got a great case and PSU for $125

Man, and I've been needing a new case too... Could anyone who already owns this tell me if a HDD with a pATA to sATA converter will fit in the internal 3.5" drive bays? It looks like it will fit, but a drive with the converter on it is pretty long.

Like it was mentioned here, if you mount the hard drive backwards (with the connectors close to the opposite of the window side), then the cables (pwoer,ide,sata) will be completely hidden from view. I went to CompUSA yesterday, last day for this deal, to get an extention cable for my case fan and saw that they had four of these cases on the shelf. Last time I went there, they were out and told me that they did not know when they would get them! Sometimes, I think that the store managers don't want you to get good deals.

Anyway, I got it. I love the case. Thanks for posting this deal.

I am up and running in this new case. My temps have dropped a few degrees. :beer:

My only problem is that I don't see a case speaker connection. Instead, there is a connection labeled "LED". And I see that the case has an additional LED, which I don't know what it is for.

The standard speaker connector is a 4-pin connector with only the two end pins wired.
The case manual talks about connecting the case speaker. So, I assume that the case does have a speaker.

How am I supposed to connect the case speaker (to hear beeps if there is a post problem)?

What is the additional LED for? I am used to havig an LED for the power and one for drive activity.

I received mine yesterday. Ordered last Sunday. All I can say its an awesome case compared to the pos chiefmax case I was using. I didnt even cut myself. And its a sturdy case imo.

There is a UPC code on each side of the box. So, there are a total of two UPC bar codes on the box. They seem to be identical.
Is that the one I need to cut and send for the rebate?
I thought there would be only one UPC bar code on each box!

It is the most fitting name I could ever imagine for that case. It was clearly designed for boys. It already has the clear panels, neon lights, and carrying straps so with the addition of maybe a backpacking strap to the new model, they can name it Supergay Lanboy.

I actually like this case. I drove 116 miles with two friends to the nearest CompUSA that claimed (Encinitas store, per compusa.com) to have them in stock only to find out they can't be found. Their computers listed 4 in stock, but they couldn't find them anywhere in their building. :| Customer service girl tried very, very hard to be helpful and the store manager offered free shipping once they found the cases. Returned home empty handed and a bit wiser. Future reference: Call ahead.
