The Madcatz TE sticks are the best you can buy IMO. I haven't used the new Hori HRAP VLX though, but I'm sure they are on par. As far as for PC, I'd recommend getting the 360 version, as those have less issues on PC. I am not sure if it still works but Cross Counter had a promo code. You'd have to check their youtube channel to get it.

so ive always wondered...how the hell do you do special moves involving two full circles? is it only possible on a pad?

You rotate the stick twice. Usually, you have to be in a move animation because doing a standing 720 is really hard. You have to time the forward walks with the circles. If you search Desk and Standing 720 on youtube, his tutorial should come up.

i'm sad to say ... after over 2 years of sf4 ... i'm actually starting to feel kind of bored with it.

and yea standing 720 is ridiculous, i can only do them while in a dash.

the only other "advanced" ultra move I can do is the dash charge ultras that are B,F,B,F.

the flash kick FADC u2 is really tough to do as well. i can't do that either. haven't tried to much though.

I have not tried the flash kick FADC u2 because I don't play Guile ever. I can do the standing 720 maybe 1/5 on a good day, and that is only because I main'd Gief in Vanilla and now again in AE. I haven't touched AE since 3SO game out.

that thread about ps3 games got me wanting to play some ssf4 again. i haven't really played this game much at all in the past 6 months or so but would like to get some matches in.

anyone up for some matches tonight, on either ps3 or 360? i may hop on around 10:30pm est or so. not really looking to play people on the west coast either. i mean we can try but i'm east coast so there will probably be some lag, which i don't really want to deal with lol.

I got it on pc too when I went to Evo capcom gave all participants a copy. It has the worst competition by far.

we just tried playing ssf4 and were having network issues connecting. we ended up playing a few matches of vanilla sf4 finally just to get some in.

and man, if sony is charging for psn to play online, they gotta do something about psn because if i paid monthly for playing online with that shitty quality, holy shit i'd be pissed.

me and durvelle had a decent connection, but i played a match in ssf4 with someone who had 4 bars and it was unplayable. and that is more the norm than the exception on psn in my experience.

It's not PSN, it's the PS3 itself. The PS3 is not integrated into the network like Xbox Live. PSN is separate from the OS and it was never optimized properly for the PS3's network capability it seems. The PS4 should be much better with PSN being a core part of the OS and having a separate CPU for offloading network functions.
