Funny thing is street fighter is the only game I have problems with the rest play just fine
It's not PSN, it's the PS3 itself. The PS3 is not integrated into the network like Xbox Live. PSN is separate from the OS and it was never optimized properly for the PS3's network capability it seems. The PS4 should be much better with PSN being a core part of the OS and having a separate CPU for offloading network functions.

downloading things cake a while over PSN too, compared to your PC for example. It should not be that way with gigabit ethernet and a fast internet connection.
It's probably the #1 thing that needed fixing when moving to the next console.
When i upgraded to xfinity from UVerse. 50MB/s Down & 24MB/s Up. It really helped. Downloaded 5 games in less than 3hrs. But hopefully the PS4 would have better PSN intergrstion and connectivity
if you had a 360 you would realize how superior xbox live is to psn for gaming online.
Lol I have 3 Xbox 360s. And yes I do think XBL is better but PSN has come a long way. I remember 3 years ago I had a terrible experience with PSN When gaming online. Most of my games would lag and skip which caused me to stop playing for awhile but since i started back it seems alot better now.
I've ran speedtests on my PC(ethernet) vs my PS3(connected via cat 6 ethernet to a gigabit router) vs my Tablet over wifi and even my tablet pulls better speeds than the PS3. It really shouldn't.
yeah it is mainly that if you have the same games on both consoles you can see how much better it is. but if all you have is psn to play on then it's usually good enough, especially since it is free. no way i'd ever pay $3/mo to play games on psn on ps3 though lol.
