It's 15% for a maximum discount of $15. Basically you can use the coupon fully on 3 sticks per order ($14.62). If you order 4 sticks, you max out the discount at $15. This is the way eWiz promo codes almost always work.

If you need 4 sticks (16GB), do two orders (3 sticks with the promo code + 1 stick without). This way you will maximize the discount and qualify for the very cheap USPS shipping.

I paid ~$143 for 4 sticks last week and thought it was a great deal. I could have saved more than $20 today. This is beyond insane.

early 2009 was really even better for ddr2. after some ram companies went bankrupt after the financial crisis. you could get 4GB ddr2 for like $10 after rebate a few times.

I pulled up an old invoice dated Dec 2008 from Ewiz for four 2GB DDR2-800 sticks at $16.50 each. IIRC, that may have been the cheapest they got. Note though that I never got into the 1GB module deals, as I was filling up Dells with 4x2GB at the time.

I grabbed a few sets (2x2gb) of Corsair DDR2-800 for $20 after rebate, and some for $25 AR. That was the cheapest it got for me.

I got my super fast high price ram 2 X 2GB that runs great - no prob
but if i buy super cheap but slower 2 X 4GB ram will the system respond better?

I've gotten all my RAM free after rebate since around 1998. I hope we get back to those days again. In the meantime, this 4GB DDR3 glut deal is so tempting compared to 4GB DDR2 pricing. Makes me regret my decision to stick with DDR2.

I can't remember when, but I have lots of DDR2 that I bought when I didn't even have a use for it. I kept seeing ram deals and I just kept getting suckered in.

And now it starts again with DDR3...I think this deal may force an upgrade to i3 or something for me. I haven't ruled out and AMD quad or something though.
