<< Now the Pats, they shouldnt even show up Sunday! >>

I don't know about that. Pittsburgh is dominating right now, but New England keeps finding ways to win. They have won with defense, they have won with offense AND they have won with suspect officiating. They can beat anyone. The classic underdog.
>>

Suspect officiating? Oh well, they advanced.

I have been saying Patriots vs St. Louis for a few weeks now. Both Championship games should be close.

<< The sportscasters are saying Philadelphia Vs. Pittsburgh. I have to agree cause I'm an Eagles fan. what do you guys think? >>

I have to disagree because I hate the eagles

The key to the Eagles is McNabb on offense. Shut him down and you win.

The Rams will simply overwhelm the Eagles offense. If they can do it to Farve, McNabb doesn't stand a chance.

Both games should be good, if all four teams play to the best of there potential with none making any big mistakes

Steelers 24 Pats 13

Rams 27 Eagles 17

Thats my prediction. I just don't see the Pats being able to handle the Steeler running game, sure the Pats have one of the best secondary's in the leage but that won't matter much when Pitt rolls Bettis and company through the middle of the line all day long. Also I think Brady will have a hard time with the Steeler 3-4 defense He has never faced a team like that (everyone else in the league plays a 4-3), Pitt has guys coming from all angles on the blitz and they are very aggresive.

The Eagles do have a solid D but it's hard for any team to hang with the Rams for an entire game, all it takes is one missed read and the Rams will put up 6 on you in a second. There best bet is to hammer Warner as much as possible even if it takes a few lay hits or ruffing the passer penealties to get him rattled. I know that sounds cheap but it will work. Also they will need good ball control drives. If the Eagles can eat up clock and punish Warner every time he steps on the field they have a real chance.

The Eagles will definitely make a game of it (unlike the Packers).

- Eagles (until this year) were an astro-turf home team - look at their record on turf the last two years.
- Eagles played the Rams into OT. At the end of regualtion, Eagles punt coverage failed to jump on a fumbled ball (at least 3 players had a shot at it). In that game, Eagles gave up two first half fumbles in Eagles territory (one on the 7 YD line) which led to 2 TDs.
- The Eagles D can cover the Rams receivers (at least contain Faulk)
- The Eagles are a great road team
- Warner is banged up, and the Eagles will put alot of pressure on him (and his ribs)
- The emergence of McNabb - everybody knows to shut down the Eagles, you stop McNabb. But how did TB and Chi do? Its easier said than done.

-Pittsburgh will meet the Eagles in New Orleans!

Do I sound biased?

<< Steelers -vs- Rams
Rams = Superbowl Champions!!!!
Eagles are going to get there butts handed to them on a silver platter....
McNabb can't beat the Rams....
>>

Ditto.

<< To all the people that say the Birds will get stomped: you don't know jack about football or you haven't seen the Eagles play. >>

On a clear day, i can pretty much see Veterans Stadium, it's only like 15 miles away from me. You can't escape coverage of the Eagles on gameday in Philadelphia, heck, the top rock station in the city, WYSP, pretty much devotes 10 hours plus to Eagles coverage every Sunday. Yes, I've seen the Eagles play this year, yes i know jack about football, and yes, i think Da Iggles are going to get stomped.

Yep, that's why I said "freak".

Warner's just too good for any defense (outside of '00 Ravens )

Eagles vs. Steelers

Why can't the Eagles beat the Rams? I watched the regular season game, went into overtime, and the Eagles should have had that fumble recovered. Four, count 'em FOUR Eagles around the ball, through all of their fingers. Rams squeaked by with a FG. Very close and tense game though.

And Warner? Just send in Hugh Douglas to teach him how Philly plays sports, just like he showed Miller

LOL! At least the Eagles players and coach are a bit more realistic than some fans the way it sounds........... Just had an interview with several of them and the coach on local TV and they agreed, they are going up against the best offense in the NFL and after yesterday, perhaps one of the best defenses in the NFL as well. The coach's last remark...."We have our work cut out for us if we want a chance to play with the Rams on Sunday."

<< I love the guy who says that people who pick the rams don't know jack. I guess that means basically every single major sports journalist doesn't know jack. Don't get me wrong, the eagles have a chance, but the rams are certainly the favorite.

Yes, I am an Eagles fan. Yes, I have watched several of their games. No, I do not think they will win, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.

The steelers offense has been underrated all year long...
>>

He was talking to the people who are so sure that the Rams are going to level the Eagles - which just isn't going to happen. It will definitely be a close game and I pick the Eagles to win, and of course win the Super Bowl by default.

Just take a look at the Eagles' first game of the season vs. the Rams. The Rams didn't beat the Eagles, the Eagles beat themselves.

Eagles vs Steelers

Any Given Sunday, people. What happened to Farve can just as easily happen to Warner.

And, I think the Eagles want to play that first game of the season over again, just to show they are for real. They look soooo much like the 80s Eagles.

When do you ever hear a team saying that they are going to "whoop" a team the next week? or even say that they will beat them no problem? All the coach is doing is being humble and placating the Rams' egos....

I would like to see Eagles v. Patriots in the Superbowl, which would guarantee a new Superbowl winner. I, however, think it is unlikely that the Patriots will win seeing as how they barely beat a fleeting Raiders team.

Eagles - Steelers

Eagles have the best secondary, and YES TROY VINCENT WILL BE IN THE GAME. Anyone want to put money on it???? Philly put up nice numbers on the ground against, YES, A BETTER RUN D THAN THE RAMS (Chicago). They will run n gun their way to the disgust of many Ram's fans, and McNabb is harder to tackle than Favre, and is quicker than Favre yet can throw just as well on the run. Any contrasting thoughts?

Let me guess that was the first Patriot game you saw this season. The Patriots didn't play that good on Saturday, but they do know how to play and will do a much better job this week.

Rams and Steelers in the Bowl. The Steelers will use their #1 rated defense to get past the Patriots. The Rams score enough to hang on and beat Philly's blitzing D. Philly will not score more than 17 points against the Rams improved defense. The Rams | Philly game will be the best matchup of the playoffs, as it was earlier in the season.

Rams ...20
Steelers ... 17

Pats all the way. They've got that special something that makes them better than everybody else.
