As odd as it seems coming from me, I will give the Pats some props here. The Giants completely outplayed them most of the first half but yet, they held in and carried a lead into the half.

Unfortunately, I missed the first possession of the second half so I don't know how the Giants stopped them, but I don't care at this point.

I'd also like to remind everyone that the Redskins. The Redskins, beat the superbowl champs this season. Not once, but twice. AND the Redskins spanked the Pats up and down the field in their meeting this year as well! Now that is ridiculous.

Someone else said it, fitting end to a terrible season.

I still don't know how the Patriots let this one go after scoring a TD on that first 2nd half drive. I thought Indy (poster) was right about the game being over, then they hold Giants to FGs instead of TDs... really, how did the Giants win this?

Did you even watch the game? Eli manning went 88 yards for a TD with 3 minutes left.

I had him as borderline elite, but this sealed it for me. If I have a game on the line and a choice of any QB, I think I pick Eli.

Oh, I guess it was the second Pats possession I missed then.

The Giants, I think, finally adjusted their defense. They were lucky because the Pats hung with them in the first half despite the Giants outplaying them badly for most of it.

Hey Pats fans : in an alternate reality, they didn't let the Giants score. They actually stopped them, and then the Giants fumbled the field goal snap, and blew the game on the kick. But not in this one.
