I have to admit that the transition effects from when she is flying to when she lands is outstanding. I can barely tell where the cg effects shot end and where the live action shots take over.

Pretty impressive for a television series when most movies get this transition shift wrong considering their much bigger budgets.

Whats funny about that is the whole Superman could never beat Reactron thing they were doing all episode...as soon as Superman showed up Reactron ran like a bitch! lol Anyways, it was a good way for him to show up without really showing up.

I wouldnt mind rewatching the first season of Smallvile, but just the first season. And since they have a former tv Superman and movie Supergirl already on the show, why not Tom. He's actually a good age for Superman. If not Superman give him another part.

I think it's been getting better. The early episodes where they were trying to work Supergirl into the Superman universe seemed really funky. But once you get past that and accept that there's a whole menagerie of escaped alien criminals, it gets more interesting. There's also the gradual evolution of Supergirl learning to control her powers. Personally, I'm sticking with the show.

I like them as well as the next guy but really ?

Conclusion= It's ALL ABOUT giving a focal point to the millions upon millions of "femminist" i.e. "intentionally refuse to be attractive to males" young women in Jr HS, HS and College who desperately seek some, ANY focal point to help interpret WHO THEY ARE and that's not their Mother.

Why could hollyweird find a true-superwoman like Lynda Carter in the 1970s, but then in the hillaryclinton era be TOTALLY UNABLE to find ANYWHERE AMONG THE TEEMING THOUSANDS OF FANTASTACILLAY SUPER-BEAUTIFUL YOUNG perfect girls, anyone other than the fool they decided upon? Booooooooooo.

I binge watched the first season of Jessica Jones, and tried to like it. This seems similar.

It really even isn't a feminist issue to me, I just thought it sucked, more or less.

I like that it's a continuous story line, so it turns out her previous fight drained her powers and it will take time for her to recharge. Pretty consistent with what happened with Superman in the comics.

The surprise introduction of a major character at the end was pretty cool

Just like The Flash and every other show ATOT hates in the first season, the series seems to be picking up steam.
