The writers for this series are a joke.
Supergirl causes the sprinklers to go off, then she freezes the water to make a 'shell' around the people.... Then bombs go off, and you have shards of the ice going all over the place, and knock supergirl flat on her back, yet, nobody else had any damage?

Come on writers, what a lame tactic to free supergirl, that made 0 sense at all.
Seriously, the ship was in a cavern, about what, 40-50ft (if not more) down, and they used C4 to blow a entrance into the top of the ship (I'll let this one slid a bit, we can pretend they used shape charges), yet, as soon as that was blown, they immediately grapple down, and he has problems trying to get Alex, and then, to top it all off, she fires a gun into the "ceiling" thus causing the bullet to go, what, through the cavern 40-50 ft up, through the cabin floor, up into the cabin, and just happen to ricochet at just the right angle to get the sun light onto supergirl?
They didn't even say how he captured supergirl in the first place, all we see is he fired something at her, and that weapon didn't have any affect on supergirl the next time around, in her weakened condition...
IMO, The Jailer would have been a good ally, but they had to take the lame way out.
And continuing on with the theme of being stupid...
Supergirl: "I got this far on my own..." Not only is this a lie, it couldn't be more wrong.
Indigo / Braniac 8, nice character, but again, plagued by being dumb.
Olsen: "You are faster than Superman!" ... sigh, and she couldn't catch the missile very well?
Olson: "1 million tons of condense dwarf star" ... Oh, and she picks it up like it was nothing, but in previous episodes, she could barely handle the jet?
Martian Manhunter: "What the hell is that?"
Danvers: "That's my sister!" ... yeah, a triangle.
Supergirl "pushes" the missile off course, instead of guiding it into space/water?
"I'll use my Heatvision!" "Don't that will make it explode!"
What, no freezing it?
And why the heck isn't Martian Manhunter out there getting the ICBM, and taking it out to space?
To top it all off, Winn writes "malware" to take out Braniac? You know how far fetched this would be? Braniac is what 1000x if not 100Kx more smarter, and the OS would be in a totally different language, yet, that is what takes Braniac down?
Remember, she transferred her arm through the screen to his throat, just your run of the mill C code working there...
This show is just so annoyingly dumb.

Erm, you do realize that this is a show about a girl, from another planet, with super-human strength, who travelled here for years in a tiny spaceship, and looks just like an every day earthling...and you want all the rest of the story to make perfect sense?And continuing on with the theme of being stupid...

This is not in the realm of possibility in the first place. Expecting logic where there is none in the first place is not realistic. Set realism aside and enjoy it for what it is; complete fantasy.
