I guess I don't understand the point you are trying to make. I simply mentioned 2 names who are clearly judicially qualified but who obviously may not be politically acceptable to some. Where Judge Moore comes into this I fail to see.

Roy Moore was forced out of office for defying a federal court order.

In 2001 Moore was elected to the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama. Moore was removed from his position in November 2003 by the Alabama Court of the Judiciary for refusing a federal court's order to remove a marble monument of the Ten Commandments that he had placed in the rotunda of the Alabama Judicial Building.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Moore

Mike Lee endorsed him anyway. We can't have SCOTUS justices who place the Bible above the Constitution. We all know this.

One of the names on Trump's list of potential Supreme Court nominees is Amy Coney Barrett. It seems, Barrett is a member of a religious organization called “People of Praise”.

https://heavy.com/news/2018/06/amy-coney-barrett-people-of-praise/

The group’s members “swear a lifelong oath of loyalty, called a covenant, to one another, and are assigned and are accountable to a personal adviser, called a ‘head’ for men and a ‘handmaid’ for women. The group teaches that husbands are the heads of their wives and should take authority over the family.” The group now calls handmaids women leaders instead, the newspaper reported.

The Times reported that members of the group take direction from the heads and handmaids (or woman leader) on major decisions, even down to whom they marry, employment choices, child raising, and where to live.

What a freedom loving group..wtf

I don't think she stands a chance based on that insanity.

But the investigation WASN'T over when the primaries started, dumbnuts. I specifically referenced the primaries for that reason, dumbnuts. If you go back and read my post, you won't find any evidence that I'm a Trump fanboy, dumbnuts. In fact, I predicted a Hillary win, dubmnuts. So sorry to burst your intellectually myopic little bubble that everyone that doesn't suck the D party dick is automatically a braindead, neonazi, subhuman slave to Fox news, dumbnuts.

I'm sure I'll get the standard limp-wristed comeback that I was triggered - bullsh*t. Sorry that I offended you by calling out your reading comprehension failure, dumbnuts.

Oh, what did those investigations yield? In fact, let's take a moment to think about the ethics of those investigations in the first place.

That really the road you want to throw yourself on, dumbnuts?

Also, stop caring. Just fuck off. Clearly you don't give a shit what's happening, so I assume you're bubble is just fine.

I don't think she stands a chance based on that insanity.

If there were any other President in the White House I would agree.
As long as he felt she would vote the way he wanted on certain cases that’s all that matters.
Now making it through confirmation is slightly more questionable, but you can almost guarantee it would fall on party lines and has a reasonable chance of happening should she actually be nominated.

I have serious doubt Trump would nominate a woman.

Eh, I don’t think the possible Justice’s sex has anything to do with it, more the way they would rule.
I have a larger doubt that Trump himself actually makes the choice of whom to nominate.

i bet all the women on the list are totally incompetent so they can just say they tried and put another white man on. Its was bush jr did when he put up roberts. He put up a totally unqualified lady so everyone was like hell no and then it turned into white guy.

Glad you appreciate it.

He just picks from the list his GOP friends gave him. It's not like he knows enough about it to do anything else.

That is what I was saying I don't think she would have a chance of being confirmed. Zero.

I too doubt Trump will pick a woman.
Unless it would be daughter Ivanka.
And don't think Donald hasn't given that some serious thought.
Presumably, Donald Trump will last until 2024. Where as Ivanka sitting on the high court could extend Donald's legacy years and years far beyond 2024.

But other than Ivanka, I doubt Donald picks a woman.
In his mind, the court already has three women. In his mind, having one is plenty enough.
No. It will be some screwball, a man, that Mitch McConnell wants. A man that can fill McConnells agenda for America.
Trump doesn't really care.
Donald will do whatever McConnell wants because Trump owes McConnell. Owes McConnell for not running Donald out of town on a rail. And for McConnell standing by Trump when everyone else was running away.

They are in bed together. In bed.
So the question is, who does Mitch want on the high court?

Amy Coney Barrett is emerging as the favored nominee. Female judge on the 7th circuit court of appeals that received broad bipartisan support for her nomination in 2017. Seems qualified to me.

I'm not going to worry about the issue.

Roe v W is not a huge issue for me, and threatening it and SSM will just wake Dems and women out of SC complacency.

Additionally, Gorsuch is an illegitimate Justice, nominated to a stolen seat by an illegitimate, corrupt, popular-vote losing criminal president (and possible traitor.) The next SC will be illegitimate as well.

The court doesn't represent the will of the people or democracy, and Ds need to expand the court to compensate the malfeasances by McConnell and Trump.

End of story.

As far as I'm concerned, everyone who aided and abetted Clinton's inevitable second loss, can reap the harvest of the seeds they've sown.

Hillary ran a shit campaign, and was the candidate nobody was asking for, but the Bernie Bros can GFTS.

Even as a member of that wacko cult, where she has plead to only ever take life directions from her appointed "male master"? Something doesn't smell right...

I think it's funny that an admitted conservative can see she is insane while a self-identified "moderate conservative" thinks she is well qualified.
Well Hillary’s uninspired running mate that no one remembers and bunch of other moderates confirmed her in the Senate for the 7th circuit:

She received 55 voted in the Senate, including from Democrats Joe Manchin (West Virginia), Joe Donnelly (Indiana) and Tim Kaine (Virginia) as well as several moderate Republicans like Shelley Moore Capito (West Virginia), Susan Collins (Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (Alaska).

I do appreciate your concern.
