New Yeah, not sure how I feel about this one. My thought is that if a union negotiated wages and benefits then, it should only be for their members now. Those that are not a part of the union cannot benefit from it.
Also this. There is an absolute need for trade unions. I never understood the need for public service unions that also serve as the political action committees to help vote in the very people they are supposedly negotiating with.It's about time, public employees shouldn't have unions anyway.

If the Union only benefits Union members, and the company can employ people for cheaper.... how do the Union employees keep their jobs?

Working class will suffer the most from gutting of the unions, as has been the case since it has started.
