I am putting together some Holiday Boxes to send to the troops. One item frequently requested is a good quality flashlight.

These are great lights, I have several different Surefire models but if your considering sending to the troops please include a few extra sets of batteries as these do not use a standard battery (i.e. AA). It's not that the battery they use is uncommon, but it may be hard to find overseas and Surefires eat them up pretty quickly.

And as a option the Surefire G2 is only $36 and comes with an extra set of batteries, I have a couple of these for the vehicles and they stand up to abuse very well.

O.P. I think what you are doing is awesome, our boys need all the support we can give them.

For those who don't know, these flashlights are extremely bright for their size. Nothing like it.
