I've got 2 Windows 7 machines in the house, both using wireless networking: one is wireless-n; the other is wireless-g. The router between the two is a D-Link DIR655 - 'Xtreme-N gigabit router'. I've tried a couple times today to copy some files to a shared folder, and each time the best speed I got between the two machines was (according to Windows) 512KB/sec
What can I do to try and improve this speed? Replacing the wireless-g adapter with another wireless-n adapter would probably help, but what else?
Thanks!
Nathan
