Surface 1030 group buy.

For people who didn't see the last thread, we are looking into getting a group buy thing for Surface 1030 mouse pads going so that we can get them cheaper.

Ok, I got a vague reply from the Surface 1030 person. I need a (hopefully accurate) head count before we can get pricing. From the last thread I have these people down as wanting one (this is of course provided that we can get the price down):

Won't know pricing until we have a consensus of how many people are in. The more people, the better the pricing should be. Normal price is $19.99 plus something like $7 shipping, but the whole point of this is to buy in bulk and get the price down. I assume this will work as it did with the everglide thing a while back, all the pads will get shipped to one person (me? not sure), then that person will send them out to everyone cheaper than it would be to buy one individually (for cost mind you, no profit here).

I'd be interested but I need to know if anybody had experinces with this mouse pad and a ms intellimouse explorer and logitech wheel mose (optical). Do you notice a big difference between the surface vs a normal foam mouse pad.

Stephen, everyone I've ever seen or heard from that has tried a surface 1030 and a ratpad/everglide has preferred the Surface 1030. So

I live in Canada...as long as the person organizing this has no problem with this...I know I'll have to chip in a bit more for the shipping.
