The big problem right now is that metro apps are still scarce. Once that situation improves the platform will take off. The underpinnings of the os are great.
this belief baffles me. its a full blown win8 machine. it runs everything. to each their own I guess.
Pretty impressive! And I imagine the Surface2 is even better.The Wacom digitizer is a big selling point and is supposed to work really well according to Surface Pro 1 reviews.

it's $899 from the ms store website:
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/html/pbPage.PDPS/productID.286866600
$100 to upgrade from 64GB -> 128GB. Meh...
$300 to upgrade from 128GB -> 256GB. What...?
$500 to upgrade from 256GB -> 512GB. HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS
The 512GB is double the price of the 64GB version
as long as ms keeps the digitizer driver proprietary and doesnt work out the PS pressure levels bug, surface pro will be a non starter.
128GB -> 256GB goes in line with 4GB RAM - 8GB RAM -- though I agree. It's a bit expensive.
Good to know. Are there any other upgrades going from 256GB -> 512GB?
