This is just a thread to see if anyone else has these problems or if anyone has any ideas to help. I've had my surface since last June if that helps.
1) This is my biggest complaint. My erase button on the pen, the button closest yo the writing tip, doesn't like to work. For example, I will be writing something and need to erase. I push this button and the erase button shows up on the screen but the pen stops working for a few seconds. It won't erase, no other buttons will work, and it won't write. I will have to tap on the screen a few times with my finger to fix it. This happens probably ~70% of the time I try to erase.
2) I noticed this last night. I had Chrome open and the surface was in landscape mode sitting up with the kickstand out. Without touching the screen, it was recognizing touch input at the address bar and would bring up the on screen keyboard. This isn't a huge problem but still annoying.
I re-installed Windows 8 last week to see if it helps and it didn't fix anything. I replaces the AAAA battery as well as the two button batteries in the pen and the problems still persist.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
