This seems like a pretty decent deal for a simultaneous dual-band AC router + SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 modem:

$110 @ newegg with what I think is FS (it also qualifies for shoprunner shipping)

The SB6141 normally hovers ~$70 while the TP Link C7 router hovers between $80-$90 (just looking at camelcamelcamel)

Friend of mine just got that exact same modem from Xfinity when setting up their in home service so getting that + the wireless gateway for $110 is a steal compared to renting for $10/mo. Thanks OP!

I probably would have jumped on this deal myself, but a few things are working against me:

1) My Cisco E4200v1 is still working quite well
2) No AC cards in my computers anyway.
3) Modem rental from RCN is ~$5/mo (maybe less)
4) I'm likely going to be moving in the next 6 months, so I'm not quite sure whether it would be a good time to pick up a modem if I don't know what kind of ISP I'll have then.
