Surround sound,,,which is best?

Im looking to buy surround sound system for my living room, but dont want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. Obviously, it has to sound somewhat decent. Any ideas??????

I mean ridiculous can be seen at $1000 is too little or too much.

Sounds decent can also mean plays my cd's audiablily vs at a flat response curve....

Also what do you need, the whole package or just a unit or just speakers?

The Onkyo HT-S650 sounds like a good deal rh71, ty.

More than $300? Get the Denon 1803 (search in Hot Deals) + a Fluance speaker setup.
