Interesting tribal questions. I'm starting to think that Courtney is going to win. I think Amanda played the best all around game but the jury is so bitter about being betrayed in the game.

On the ?Survivor China? television program that aired on December 16, 2007, Mrs. Denise Martin, an employee of the Douglas Public Schools, stated that she was demoted from her position as a cafeteria worker upon her return from taping the show. This statement is false. In fact, Mrs. Martin held a full-time position as a custodian prior to her participation in the series, and she returned to this same position upon her return from China. Mrs. Martin was granted - at her request - an unpaid leave of absence so that she could participate in the ?Survivor? program. We were pleased and excited to support Denise, and have enthusiastically cheered her on throughout the duration of the show.

Although Mrs. Martin was a cafeteria employee prior to her selection as a contestant, she asked to be considered for a promotion to full-time custodian, and was promoted to this position on March 30, 2007. This promotion came with additional benefits and a higher salary. Following her leave, she then returned to this same position.

Regretfully, the Douglas Public School District was inaccurately portrayed as failing to be accommodating to an employee during what the District viewed as a ?once-in-a-lifetime? opportunity. This is far from the case. On the contrary, we granted all requests made by Mrs. Martin so that she could participate in the ?Survivor? series. Since Mrs. Martin was on an approved leave, her position was held open for her, and she returned to this same position upon her return from China. As a District, we make every effort to support our employees, and will continue to do so.

Watching the episode now where James got voted off. Wow for doing pretty well till now he really fuked it up. With 2 idols he only needed to not use one during one of the next three votes to make it into the final four. Argh!

Not to mention the fact that he had pretty good odds of winning the immunity challenge one of those times. He was a great physical competitor and a very likeable guy, but fell short on the mental/strategic side of the game.

Here are my thoughts on this season:

James: A tremendous physical competitor who has good character. Very likable. I liked how he handled losing -- he was not bitter. I can understand why he was the most popular survivor this season.
Denise: During the season, I got the sense that she was the type to use the sob story to get ahead and at the reunion show this was affirmed. Cortney had it right -- this isn't welfare.
Cortney: I like her. I think she's attractive and I tend to like girls who speak their minds.
Amanda: I like her too. She's attractive (although she didn't look that good at the reunion show) and I really did think it bothered her to backstab others during the game (which is a trait I find attractive).
Jamie: I like her too. She's attractive. I hope she and Eric hit it off and have a happy life together.
P-G: I like her too. She's attractive and I like her butt.
Eric: I like him. He seems like a nice guy. Is he really a virgin? Or is he one of those "technical" virgins -- in other words, has he's gotten a bj, hj, or done anal? Or he is someone who hasn't had sex yet and is waiting to do it with someone he loves (probably after marriage)? If so, that's pretty impressive. He's a good looking guy and I'm sure he's had opportunities.

Additional stories about Denise. I think it's funny how she bashed Amanda and Todd for lying(back-stabbing) while she did the same thing about her job and situation. Plus, she was the biggest fraud on the show as she wasn't even a lunch lady anymore when she joined the show. Hopefully, she gets pressured enough to return the $50k.

i am so glad courtney didn't win. I think that was my biggest fear when seeing the votes tallied. Todd played the most active role in the game, he kind of had his hooks in everyone throughout the game. good win.
