Love sushi. Anyone ever try dragon roll before?
It's a combination of eel, avocado, and shrimp tempura, hmmmmm....

Napalm, you are so into how you "PROPERLY USE" things, aren't you? Who wants to eat something that has to be "properly applied" or "handled." TO me, having to be able to "handle" something means that you can't stand it, but you have the power and self-control to not show it. Who TF wants to do that? When people around me order sushi, I order negima. That shouldn't be threatening to you. Eat and enjoy sushi. None for me, thanks.

Sushi great but nothing compares to the freshest sashimi.
(live baby octopus sticking to the roof of your mouth, live fish still flopping around on the plat or squirming into tofu, live skinned eel w/hot sauce, etc... and wash them down w/Sake or Soju)

For those that made comments about hiding the fish tastes w/wasabi because it taste nasty, I guess you don't season the fish you cook either huh? You eat it cooked but unseasoned because you don't want to "hide" the taste right?

Each fish have unique distinctive taste but tastes the same when cooked because the seasoning covers the tastes.

Absolutely not. I never season fish. I bake, broil, or grill fish, but the only seasoning it ever sees is a little lemon juice. --And saying I use lemon juice to hide the taste is like saying people don't like french fries, so they use ketchup to hide the taste. Also, not all fish tastes "fishy." I don't eat fish that does. I eat light, flaky fish. Any fish that can ever be called a fish "steak" is NOT going into my body. Oily, fishy fish. Gross.

<< Sushi is nasty. --Which is why wasabi was created. Think about it... When you don't want to taste something, what are your options? Cover the taste with something really strong, or burn the hell out of your tastebuds. Wasabi to the rescue! >>

I don't have a problem with someone not liking sushi. Most people in this thread have simply said "ack, none for me" and left it at that. You, on the other hand, present the ignorant and completely false opinion that wasabi is somehow used to "cover" the taste of sushi. As you state later, you don't use lemon juice to cover the taste of fish. Us sushi lovers don't use wasabi to cover the taste of sushi.
