Sushi: Yes or No?

I'm not sure because I didn't count. I just kept on eating sashimi constantly (obviously faster at first and slowing down to a medium rate later on). I felt kinda bad about eating so much fish, so I went for regular sushi (usually tuna, sometimes salmon/squid/eel) and some tenpura on the side. Especially when you're eating there with another sushi lover, man those are some damn good times.

I'm in Austin though. There's a nice Japanese restaraunt that serves sushi within walking distance of my college, but it's not a buffet. I treat myself every week at least once though, even if it's just two pieces of maguro sashimi.

Well, if you're on campus, you can go to banzai and get some sushi. Its not too bad, there hamachi is pretty good.

If you have money, Kyoto is downtown, on congress. Musashino Sushi Dokoro, is really good though. Although its far too expensive for my budget. They have fresh fish flown in from tokyo. I need to find a good all you can eat sushi place though...that would be muy excellente.

loogie: heh, another Austinite. Although I don't have a car and can't go to Kyoto, I usually go to Banzai at least once a week. Their sushi varies from day to day, but in general it's pretty good.

Also, I've included 2 pics from my stay in Japan. It was one of those hand-roll sushi dinners I had. There was more sushi in the kitchen and we regularly kept the plates full. Mmmm, so good. I miss all that good food.
