4 two connector cables, one floppy cable plus some ASIII, 5.50 shipping to the right coast.

Ordered mine sat. afternoon, received tracking number my e-mail monday afternoon. In light of the flood of orders that SVC must have received from annandtecher's I would call that great service! Shipping came to $6.55 for 4 cables and a fan shipped to Illinois. Not bad at all.

I will never upgrade from my homemade roundies! Why you ask?! Am I crazy?! No, and that's because it took me like a whole week to make mine (floppy, 3 ide's, and a livedrive cable) and that time would be in vain if I were to spend more money. I put my heard and soul into making mine and even if I got these cables for free, I wouldn't do it . Plus I'm sure no one's here looks quite like mine do .

Well part of the higher shipping cost is explained.

They are now using the USPS priority mail tracking which I think costs a few pennies more.

Pretty useless tracking, and if the package now requires a signature I probably won't be using SVC again as my primary reason for using them is not having to be home for a signature. (we have a nice large locked mailbox so I prefer USPS vs the leave it on the doorstep hope no one takes it method of other shippers).

Also I just reviewed my order and I got a lot more than I thought. Talk about impulse buying! Something like 8 copper braided cables and a 92mm fan that looked nice, so maybe the $10 shipping is not totally whacked.....

Better check your orders, SVC is still screwing up orders and sending wrong items. I ordered the SK800 and the YS Tech Variable Fan, they gave me some generic piece of crap fan in its place so now Im stuck and have to run to a local store to pay retail to test out my new system. I sent an email to customer service over 3 days ago with still no reponse about either giving me a credit on my current order of cables coming (god I hope they didn't screw that one up too) or RMA this FAn and give me the correct one. After I get my cable order in, this will be my last order from them...they are just too incompetent to provide proper service...messing up an order is excusable if it happens occasionally but not responding to problems in a timely matter is not acceptable. I know some of you have had better luck with them but I am done with them, just too much frustration hoping your order is correct and then trying to get them to respond to fix them...this year to date its 6 orders with 3 messed up, not good odds if you ask me :frown:

My experience has been the same as Beandog's. I doubt I will ever order from this company again. Too many hassles and problems makes saving a $1-2 not worth it.

Yeah, I had a problem with a SVC order this past summer and customer service was useless.

I then tried Case-Mod.com, a site which sells many of the same items (even SVC items). The fact that they are located near to SVC's location may not be any coincidence.

So Case-Mod screwed up my order, too. I'd use them again, though. Even before I received my order, they had caught the error that some incorrect items had initially been sent out. Without me even knowing about the problem, they corrected it by sending out a second package with the missing items. So now I am the proud owner so some cool copper heatsinks I never ordered!

I've had a bad experience with them too. The e-mail they did answer (after 2 previous attempts) wanted me to e-mail the info again. Then, of course, they didn't answer back.
There was a guy here on the forums too, tho I won't mention the name, who "said" he was hired by SVC to help with customer service & complaints. My 2 messages to him went unanswered as well. I'd post a third message to him here, but I don't wanna get in trouble with the mods...hehehe.

Where I live, USPS always just leaves it on the doormat, even if I'm home they don't knock. Fine by me, the apt. complex is gated and my neighbors won't mess with my stuff. UPS and Fedex always require a signature, so if I'm not home I don't get the package.

I got my round cables yesterday. My order was complete and accurate. The cables are ok, maybe a little flimsy, but for the price they're fine. I really wish they had pull tabs though, it's hard to unplug them and I'm afraid I'm gonna pull the wires out.

I ordered 3 times from them, and they screwed up the first time and the last time. After giving them the second chance on my second order, my email attempts on the 3rd order went unanswered. I will never order from them again.

I've always had great service from them but none of my orders were messed up. After reading this thread I also PM'd the Anandtecher that said he works for them but haven't heard back from him. Maybe he quit because it was to big of a mess. LOL

I got a phone call from "that anandtecher" right after my post. He said he was banned from here, but I didn't ask why. He asked me to let the ones that had a bad experience to enable the profiles so he can get in touch via e-mail. He told me to let him know when I ordered again & he'd personally package it & ship it that day.
I told him i'd relay this message, but I want to let everyone know I have no connections whatsoever with him or SVC.

I received my order perfectly. Boxed USPS priority mail, left at my door, with complete fill of peanuts (and all of my cables). PEANUTS.... sheeeesh... should I bash em for that....? I mean I really hate peanuts.

I ordered the copper braided cables.... (to match my HEMI)..

Wish I had purchased some of the UV/glow in the dark ones. Could be fun.

Anyway... I am ordering from them again.

I've placed 6 or 7 orders at SVC in the last few months, for a variety of items (fans, cables, AS-III, cathodes, etc.). Up to the last 2, all my orders have shipped in a reasonable time and been complete and undamaged when they arrived. Of the last 2, one is in the hands of UPS, the other is still pending. I'm satisfied with them thus far. *shrug*

As for USPS Priority, no signature is required. The round cables and thumbscrews (blue and green tinted, and when they say "tinted", that's exactly what they mean. not at all as colorful as the pictures implied, but they definitely have tints of blue and green, so i can't really say i didn't get what i ordered) I ordered 12 hours before they decided to have a sale (they plan this kind of thing, i swear they do) were shipped Priority and waiting on my doorstep when I got home from work on Monday.

UPS hasn't bothered to ask for a signature from any of the shipments I've received (from any online merchant), either, for that matter. Of course, since I'm only home to sign for packages on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, that's a bonus for me.

SVC is the shibby. I've ordered from them numerous times, all have been very pleasant experiences. Top notch vendor to do business with.

Well my 7th order came in with all cables and items accounted for, so that puts them at 7 orders with only 3 messed up, maybe they are improving I still have not heard back now on my email in reference to my previous order where they still owe me a Fan. I like the cables though, they seem nice and flexible.

I ordered 3 and the 2 I received worked fine. They have been totally unresponsive to my requests to send the third that they charged me for. At this point the few dollars is not worth the aggrevation - I chalk it up to experience and will look elsewhere for my next order.

Hmmm.. Any of you w/problems via SVC had any PMs from the supposed SVC employee that frequents this forum yet? Just curious since he's been popping up in other SVC-related threads, yet unless I've mis-read this thread, we haven't heard from him regarding any of the latest problems.. <head scratch>

Can't find their store hours. Any ideas?

The reason I'm asking is because I made a mistake on an order I placed yesterday and tried to call them today (around 1:30pm EST). All I got was the answering machine telling me to send emails to the appropriate department. I sent an email aroun 11:30pm EST to the shipping email address (which supposedly handle last minute changes/cancellations) but so far haven't heard back. BTW, what is their turnaround time for responding to emails? Sounds like most people never hear back from them at all. What about CS help via phone? Should I even bother?

I order 6 cables from them. However, 2 of them were Vantec cables and the rest were some other brand, G???.

I thought it was odd since they mention on their webpage that "only low quality cables with connectors that are prone to fall apart come with pull-tabs." BUT the Vantec came with pull tabs..

Also, I order a blue cable and I got a Vantec clear cable. At least the length was right. I wouldn't mind too much but I ordered that one for a friend.
