good deal on those two things, seems like they'd have a lil bit more for a 1-year anniversary but I'm not complaining. I've had nothing but excellent experiences with this place.

they have 2 domains. svcompucycle and heatsinkstore. I'm guessing they opted for a 2nd one since the svc one is a little more difficult to remember.

$6.99 for the vantec stealth case fan 80mm is a couple bucks cheaper than usual.
(I got one. Quiet, but they don't move much air. Probably a panaflo is just as good for $4 less, but Vantec at least claims more air/dB

Anyone here know where to get Firewire cables and external Firewire hubs at low prices? Also, what's the difference between 4 pin and 6 pin for firewire?

Newegg has a 7 port hub that'll work for ya...$28 + $6 shipping. 3 firewire ports, couple of usbs (only usb 1.1 tho...). Depending on the link, each cable will run you about 20-30 from what pricewatch and the like show. As far as 6 vs 4 pin....the small square plug is a 4 pin, which is most laptops and digital camcorders use, and most PC firewire ports are the larger trapezoid-like shape, like what's on the back of an audigy card.

How do the NMB fans compare to the panaflows? Since they do have similar specs and the panaflows aren't on sale anymore. Is there a noticable difference between the two?

Yes they have similar air flow and db specs. The NMBs have an RPM lead. The NMBs are nice. You can find them in a lot of workstation PCs (like Dell Optiplex). They are rock solid. Even though I already have some Paniflos I ordered 10 of these to keep around. I plan to use them in my new Chieftec case replacing the originals.

Any other place since Newegg has good prices but I want something that's firewire only and also ships UPS. FedEx has problems with getting into my building and packages usually end up being sent back to sender because I don't get any notices. I know what the plug looks like on the notebook and SB Audigy but what do scanners and most items use? Is it 6 pin except for digital camcorders?

Cool.... I'm actually trying to figure out what the pin config is for the HP DVD+RW 200e drive I got (does this have only 1 Firewire port or 2?) and the Epson Perfection 2450 Photo Scanner (I think this only has one port). Too bad there is no Microcenter in San Francisco. Is 6 pin the common one to use for the peripheral sides of things besides camcorder being 4 pins? Any place to get hubs? Edgemicro.com sells the 6 port Firewire hub for $39.95 with no tax and free shipping which is sold at Rogerssystems (the company that sells at computer shows) but EdgeMicro doesn't carry any cables

SVC has had an ongoing HOT DEAL on the GC68 CPU cooler. I recommend the GC68 Alum fan for most Socket370 applications. At $5.99 (as of 7/13), it's an excellent price competitor and comes with a reasonable fan and grille. I've used on XP1800+ with good results and have 2 others on PIII-1000 (these CPUs are also a hefty heat source). You can even improve the HS by doing some simple lapping/polishing on the surface. It has a 'machined' looking surface out of the box that has worked well - but after about 10 minutes of various grit sandpaper (ended up with 1500 grit and then paper polished), it can have a mirror like finish that works even better. This cooler uses an 80mm fan. There have been complaints about the clip being hard to work. I've not had that problem but I always remove the fan during HS installation and then reattach afterwards.
