I placed an order with SVC on the 2nd of July. They charged my card right away offcourse.

Two days later my account was credited back by SVC.

On July 8th, they charge my account back to same amount.

I asked them WTF is this.

So they tell me that they send my order on the 6th of July and the card was charged on 8th.

They never send me a tracking number on the 6th.

After calling them almost every day, today I finally got a tracking number from them.

I checked it over usps site and the tracking number they gave me is not valid.

So its almost been a week since they send my package supposedly and I haven't received it yet and neither does the tracking works.

Every time I wanna talk to them they put you on hold for ever.

SVC sux. :|

So ends my Rant for today........

I use to work there man. The customer service sucks because I'm sure there is only one person answering the phones. That's why you're always on hold. The bosses suck big time too...well...one of them is cool. There are two bosses: one is an arrogant rich guy where his dad funds all of his activities who doesn't know jack about computers and the other is the technical guy...he's cool. Sometimes they would make workers do different things at the same time. They are trying to maximize their gains from one worker than hire another. What they should do is have like 3-4 workers answer the phones which would alleviate the situation. The bosses are sometimes nice, but they need to get through their thick skulls that it takes hardworking loyal employees to make a business successful. This business has a high turnover rate for employees because they are treated like sh!t most of the time....at least when I was there. When you have a high turnover rate, you waste more money and more time retraining new workers. So why do that when you should work hard to keep your employees happy and satisfied.

I had a horrible experience there myself. I took my business to directron.com and spent about $2000 with directron.com so far. They treat me well. Decent prices. Shipping is over nite for me as they are in houston tx which is about 3 hours from me.

SVC had my business with good selection and great prices. After a few mix ups and horrible customer service, the so called vice president pretty much telling me where I could shove it.

I figured they were just a small shop trying to act big.

hmm, I've never had a problem with SVC, but I haven't ordered from there in probably at least a year... But every time I did order, I got it quickly and with absolutely no hassle... YMMV indeed.

I've placed 3 orders in the last 2 months, and have not had a problem. One itme on one of the orders was not in stock, and they called me about it. We selected a different item and all was well. No issues.

I'm sure most people wouldn't have problems with their orders. But if you knew the kind of people running this business, you wouldn't want to deal with them.

The one time I did order from them they sent me the wrong fans, and it was a pain in the ass getting my money back.

Back to the OP.

I thought it was common for Vendors to request a HOLD on funds IMMEDIATELY upon order. then to actually take the funds out once order is ready to ship. it will show up on your online banking as 2 transactions but funds will actually be taken out only once.

the fact that you didn't get your order sucks of course.

I'm truly saddened by this thread. SVC has been one of my favorite stores for quite a while now. I've ordered from them a dozen times (last one being 2 weeks ago) and have always gotten excellent value and service.

only prob i have is that their inventory system isn't real time. what is "in stock" on the website may not always be really in stock.

IMO, Case-mod.com
Not the best selection, but good prices and top-notch service.
I ordered an AX-7 just under the wire (after they had been discontinued and the SK-7 was about to be), and actually got a real phone call from them. Side-graded to a SK-7, bought a AX-7 later (I wanted a AX-7, but couldn't pass up a ~$15 SK-7). Also got crappy fans, Panaflos for around $3.50 a piece, and I should have known it was too good to be true. I wasn't the only one...but they even refunded the shipping back. It was a hassle overall, but they made right.
I haven't had any modding/cooling purchases since then that Ace hasn't been able to handle, but when I do, they'll get the business.

I tried to order a popular athalon 1700+ from them last summer. I placed my order with them a day or two before ordering all my other computer parts on newegg. by the time I got all the rest of the stuff from newegg a few days later I still didn't have my cpu. a week or so went by and finally about two weeks after placing the order i got an email saying that they were out of stock and I wouldn't ever be getting my cpu. I ended up just getting a regular 1700 from newegg so i could use my machine. boy was i pissed at SVC.

Today I got an email from svc.

they claim the package was shipped on the 6th and gave me the same tracking number that doesn't work.

Now they are claiming that usps might have lost the package and they cannot do anything about it.

also, they recommended that keep calling usps for next 15 days and may be it will magically show up.
