One of the saddest things that I have witnessed in the days since Nixon resigned
has been the blatent and hatefull turn that the Republican Party has taken against
the general population of this country.

While Carter was in office, and all through the Reagan/Bush years and on into the
Clinton Administration they have done everything to change our culture into a
'Us against Them' where their ends justify all means regardless of cost or damage.

Ann Coulter personifies this mentality, and she as well as the 'Savage Nation"
Limbaugh, Liddy, Ollie North, Hannity type of 'Talk (one way street here) Shows'
continue to inflame these insecure individuals enough that they believe the empty rhetoric.
They spend more effort dividing and mocking, than they do on anything constructive.
I resent what these people and their philosiphy have done to my country.

It's sad to think that our country has become so divided against itself by politics.

She's not very credible. I was reading through her book "Treason" and she did nothing but rant about how so called "liberals" (i.e. everyone not a diehard religious right Republican) hated civilization and rooted for "third world barbarians." :roll:

Well, I cheered the Bush administration's invasion of Afghanistan, I like the fact that the U.S. has the best troops and weapons available, and I sure as hell appreciate the amenities of civilization (rule by law, grand cities, clean water & electricity). Yet Coulter would have you beleive that I want to live in savagery and under Communist rule simply because I don't subscribe to the religious right or beleive that the U.S. can do no wrong.

From her angry rants it sounds like she has issues. I find her writing as awful as that of Michael Moore.
