.swf flash player?

was wondering if anyone knew a decent standalone program that can play a .swf file? IE won't open them directly for some reason, bit of a PITA to have to create a html doc with a link....thanks

I don't have a direct answer to your question, but you can click and drag from Explorer to IE to play them.

double clicking mine open them up in IE and they are played there. quicktime will also play them.
