sygate keeps logging port scans...

Ive installed sygate personal firewall on countless computers and windows installs in my home. Most recently I did a large reformat and set up xp home again. Like i normally do, I installed Sygate Personal Firewall. Withing a day or so I noticed that I was getting tons of port scans. This has never happened in any of the countless computers I have it installed on.

they are all incoming, but the remote host IP is my own computer, and backtracing just shows my computer. Is my own computer scanning its own ports? Its really weird and regularly happens about 6 times a day. My system is 100% clean and scans are done 3 times a week with countless software.

whats the deal? am i scanning my own ports?

Any chance that you're using that AOL Kaspersky anti-virus software? I noticed that after I installed that, Sygate was reporting a port scan about every 15 minutes.

yes actually i do have that installed!! and the machines that dont get portscans are the ones that dont have kaspersky installed.
