Synch mp3 by rating/tag?

Ive been playing with synch apps lately but ive yet to see one which I can synch only the music with rating x or above. My whole music collection is rated on the windows 1-5 scale and I only want 4/5 star tunes syncing to my phone.

I would put up with basic features or an app charge just to get that, has anyone seen anything like it?

It isn't an application, but Windows Media Player does it. Just use the built in auto-playlist of "4 - 5 Stars". Then sync that playlist it to whatever device you want.

I personally create my own playlist for this. I do this in Windows Media Player 12 (other versions are similar):
* Click the little black down triangle near "Create playlist"
* Select "Create Auto Playlist"
* Give it a name
* In "Music in my library" select "Click here to add criteria".
* Choose "My rating" from the dropdown list. It automatically starts with songs that are "Is at Least 4 stars".
* Then I personally add other criteria (sorting by least played total count for example). Or maybe exclude certain types of songs (maybe you rated Christmas songs with 4 stars but don't want to play them outside of December). Or maybe include certain song groups (maybe your significant other wants Elvis on the playlist even though you didn't rate his songs with anything more than 3 stars).
* Then just click the Sync tab.

On the face of it thats a good idea, thanks for the input however wont that method require me to constantly sync my whole music library to my android (while updating the 4-5 * playlists)? my phone is already maxed for sd card with a 32Gb in there.

Thats mainly why im trying to work out how to only sync the top tunes, im still going to add 2* and 3* tunes to the main pc library but only want the latest hot ones to carry with me.
