Tax for Texas folks only. I bought one the last time and am very happy with it. HD from Time Warner looks great on it.

I already ordered the 27inch model, the thing is that the 30 inch has the same spec as 27inch, it will stretch the image even more, make it more crapy.

This is not completely true. The 30" is 1280*768 so HD (720p) will have slight black bars. The 27" is 1280*720 (720p).

If you plan on using it with your PC you can take advantage of the extra resolution, as well as many upconverting DVI DVD players allow you to pick exact resolutions.

They do, in fact. I have a 30" HDTV WEGA, which when professionally calibrated, will run neck and neck with displays that cost thousands more.

But I broke down and ordered one of these too. It will be a second display for my computer (a 2005FPW is the other), and will be wall mounted at the foot of my bed for PC gaming and Windows MCE content.

I have this TV and it syncs perfectly with a PC over VGA/DVI for 1280x768p pixel perfect images...

Analog cable looks so-so to poor, from most accounts I've read. But that goes for any HDTV. Too much interpolation.

I have had this TV for about 3-4 months now and the analog picture is poor. Dont get me wrong you can still watch it and it looks ok but where this thing really shines is with an HD channel. When people see it they look at an analog channel and ask me why the hell i would spend that amount of $$ for the TV when it looks like that. THen you put on a HD sporting event and they want to know where to buy one.

If i didnt have HD, i definatly wouldnt have this TV.

Does that go the same for something like digital cable/satellite (non-HD)? What about playing Xbox games on this thing?
