Newegg, just jacked the price up $100. Deal is cold for now.

That's what I thought... plus I pay tax since I'm in CA.

This one is 1366x768 the westy is 1920x1080p

that 37" Westy hot deal was insanely hot.

I bought the Westy 37w3 instead of this Olevia. Very disappointed with the westy. There is definite ghosting with the monitor on my digital cable (both SD and HD). More ghosting at 1080i than at 720p. I get headaches watching it at 1080i because it's so bad.

I would think $799 is still a good price for this. If it was local I would buy it, as I like no hassle return ability.

The 237V model is back at $699 (Look for the $100 off coupon code floating around). Get in while it's still going!

I like the looks of the 237H better, but don't like the idea of having to ship it to them if there's a problem.

I actually prefer the 537H as speakers on the side annoy me and shipping a 37" is a major PITA!

Absolutely wonderful TV. The menus are a bit annoying from the remote to navigate, but once you figure it out, it works like a champ. The only consistent annoyance I have is that universal remote codes don't seem to work with it. I've tried my cable box's 1000+ codes, and a few other cheap ones, time to get a "smart" universal remote I guess.

I definitely recommend this one.

I got a few technical questions for those that KNOW what they are talking about in terms of th Olevia 32 inch 532H model.

First off I want to use this as a pc monitor, I have an ati 8500dv video card with both standard pin and dvi output, I would say 75% of the tv use will be with pc monitor.

Can I plug in my pc to this tv thru the HDMI slot with a DVI to HDMI adaptor and still get a great picture?

Am I understanding this correctly that the 532H has a built in HD tuner? Does this mean I can plug an antenna in and get my local hd channels in HD thru the tv? (this is what I want) I could care less about cable or renting another hd cable box, just wanna plug in a simple antenna and get local hds no outboard tuner boxes etc (this is for a second room that is mainly pc room).

Third, I have an xbox 360 with the component cable input, can I hook this up thru the component and get full 1080i thru the component input on the 532H tv?

Sorry for being a bit off topic throwing another tv into the mix here but the deal seems over with and quite a few have asked questions and got answers here so figured I would ask real quick.

I can find it anywhere on this forum

Coupon codes are not allowed on the forums. You will have to search the web or various deal sites in order to get the code.

QAM isn't in the specs but everything I've read says it's there. It might be related to the fact that it can be hit or miss for no real apparent reason. From what I understand the standards in the states are somewhat loose and cable companies do things slightly differently from one to the next that causes problems.

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=757419 Tons of info if you are willing to read it all. =)

I have the 237v and it does have QAM. I like this, but the menu sucks.

I noticed that some channels come in HD and are squared. For some reason I can
put "Full Screen" , but it won't change. I noticed on the same channels and same cable, my friend's Westinghouse will actually do the full screen.....

Overall good for the price.

The model 337H is now $629 is that model decent or the "state of the art" models are better and have more features?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16889022023

The 337H uses the Pixelworks video processor, whereas the 237v/537h use the MTK version. The MTK is better, considering the former has problems with SD Channels.

Please expand on your statement that the 337h with Pixelworks processor has problems with SD. A link or source of your information would be helpful. Thanks.

Whatever "state or the art" means or that it matters but Olevia's website says, "state of the art" for the 537h and the 337h.

Olevia's new models, the 3, 4, and 5 series all have the same "state of the art" catch phrase.

Actually I apologize, I was thinking of the ATi chip that some of the olevia's use, not the Pixelworks. The ATi chip is the one with the problems. Although, most agree that the PQ is better with the MTK over the Pixelworks.
