I've done searches on this topic on the Mobo and Tech Support forums, and I haven't seen any similar posts. My system was making loud clicking noises, which I suspected were related to the hard drives. So i backed up all my stuff, and turned my computer off (which i rarely do).
The next morning, I opened up the case and turned the computer back on to see if i could hear the sound coming from the hard drives. Instead, what I saw was that the two case fans were not spinning -- they looked like they were trying to spin, but couldn't even muster a revolution or two. The CPU fan also spins for about a minute and then just stops. That's when i quickly kill my system power to prevent my CPU from overheating!
To fix the problem, i replaced my Thermaltake 480 watt with an Antec NeoPower 480. Same exact problem ... it fixed nothing. So now I'm RMAing my MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum. This is the second time I've RMA'd the board. The first time was three days after I built my system, the computer just died and wouldn't turn on or respond at all. What a pain in the azz this crap is.
Has anyone else ever heard of or seen the problem i'm having?
