System Builders: Vista upgrade coupon question

I was just wondering if any system builders happened to get windows XP recently with the Vista upgrade coupon. If so, does anyone know when they should expect Vista in the mail?

My status at moduslink is COA validated, but there is no ship date listed, and I am getting ancy.

I realize that. I sent my coupon in october, so they've certainly had it for a while. I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on when I could expect it...

Three weeks from public release. Said so on their website. Just wait. Or, check your credit card account to see if they've charged your credit card for shipping.

They are trying to fix the Upgrade DVD bug allowing you to upgrade over top of an unactivated Vista install so we don't abuse the workaround !


I just applied for my upgrade last night after sitting on it for 2+ months (I bought first week of November) and need to dig up the invoice to mail in the redemption coupon to complete the process. No rush on it for me, since I need to upgrade a rig before adding Vista to it, and these days that isn't cheap.

Plus, MS promised me they wouldn't ship anybody else's Vista until they send me my free Vista Ultimate DVD.

The way I understood it, it we would receive it 6-8weeks AFTER the Jan30th launch.
