I have an old mini-ITX case with 60W external supply. The Atom-based MB that I originally had in it is gone.
I also now have a need for a NAS (plus maybe some other functions).
Rather than go the Atom route, I also wonder if I could do something like this:
Intel i3-6300T @ 35W TDP
2x 2.5" HDD's mirrored
1 m.2 SSD for boot
~4GB RAM
While I might sometimes run a desktop, 3D would not be used, so the i3's GPU would be only very lightly used. Most of the time, no desktop would be used.
Question: Would all of this fit in that 60W budget, or am I pushing it, and should consider going to a newer Atom-based system?
