Burner: NEC 3500A

Give feedback, especially if you see anything really wrong with this setup.
The NEC-3520a is out now, for about $10 more. No real significant differences, just newer and slightly faster theoretical RW burning speeds.

In my defense, I'll say I've been very busy with my business during December; I was just enjoying a little time off.

I'll try and update soon.

Quick question:
I'm building a mid-level low-cost gaming system. I currently have a GeForce 6600GT, a P4 3.2GHz LGA775 processor, a 75gig HD, and I plan to buy an EPoX EP-5EPAJ motherboard and 512MB of Corsair XMS DDRRAM.
My question is: how much power will this system need, and how many fans should I have to cool it?
I've been looking at an E-Power Warrior case w/450W PSU and 3 fans on NewEgg. Is there a more cost effective solution?
Thanks for any and all help.

That's some case. , I'm not familiar with that brand of PS. You must have seen the tons of threads in General Hardware on power supplys. Check them out. There are even links to calculators to help determine how much "power" you'll need, based on all your components. Good luck.

Oh, and bump for this great thread, which I refer to frequently. I've put it in my favorites, but newer members might not see it.

A little off topic,

but can someone help me build an AMD 64 Biostar or Shuttle sytem. I have no idea where to start with the little ah heck. It will be a gaming computer and needs to be able to handle FarCry, Doom3, intensive graphics.

My budget $1000,

Even links to sites with the parts would be helpful.

Thankyou,
Demon
