System Crash......Need a few DLL's

I'm restoring a friends crashed Win98SE system and need a few dll's I can't find on net. If you can send them to me or give me a link it would be greatly appreciated.
The files are:

smcomm36.dll
commtb32.dll
asi70as.dll

Have you tried reinstalling Win98 SE over itself using the INSTALL CD? That usually will fix some problems you are experiencing with missing DLL and other files. Should automatically reinstall the missing DLL files if they are system DLL's.

If you have some missing program DLLs then try reinstalling the programs over themselves that are not working correctly.

I doubt if you can install DLLs or INI files from another computer because they usually have some install information in them on the computer they belong to.

Of course, one should back up their entire system on a regular schedule to avoid the problems you are now experiencing on your friend's computer. Good luck.

They are not Windows dll's. They need to be in Windows\system I believe .The entire windows\system became corrupted and I've rebuilt it from a new install then reinstalled 98SE hoping it might add dll's for some of the programs on the system. At worst he'll just have to re-install those programs and save any info he needs from them.
