The other night, my comp (listed in signature) froze up 3 times in a short period of time. The comp is about a year and a half old and has never had any sort of problems like this before. After the first freeze up, I got a message upon reboot that said "overclocking failed, would you like to restore defaults." Strange message because I have done no overclocking at all on this computer. People were telling me that it was most likely overheating problems, so I took off the side and blew my desk fan on the parts for extra cooling. The CPU and motherboard temps are lower than they ever were, so I don't think its heat. On Friday night, with the fan blowing on the comp, it stayed up for about 5 hours without any problems, and then out of nowhere it started beeping and then the system would stutter and then it froze up. Now every time I turn it on since then I get the beeps (sometimes its one beep, sometimes two, sometimes 3), then the system lags up for a few seconds, then it freezes. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated, I'll check the thread and respond if anyone needs any extra information. Thanks ahead of time.
