Just bought a new DVD burner and an external HDD enclosure whihc has USB and eSATA.
Installed the included eSATA card, plugged in the dvd burner, set the jumpers so that the original burner is the master and the new one is the slave.
Booted up, everything was fine, started a burn, everything was still fine. Plugged in (plugged into eSATA, not USB) lights flashed on the HDD enclosure... And then everything froze.
Now the system won't post. I removed both Optical drives, then tried the internale harddrive. Also the video card and the old internal dialup modem. Still won't post.
Any ideas? I don't want to have to go to the computer man.
THanks
