system32\drivers\pci.sys error

Been a while since I posted anything, but here is a problem I have. I purchased memory for my Sony laptop. I install it, on boot, I get a system32\drivers\pci.sys error. I went to microsoft. com and read up on it, microsofts' solution is the memory is not compatible. Anyone ever get this error, if so, how can I fix it.

So, the answer may be the memory is incompatible? OR am I actually missing a system file?
