Not enough displacement to let them swim. But they can probably walk underwater

What about some sort of internal bladders.

Just the sheer amount of metal or alloy he has in him, he'll sink like a rock. Not enough room inside his body unless he has some kind of super light gas.

Even if you go with a perfect vacuum there probably wouldn't be enough space.

I can't believe I'm debating this.

What you said. Althought what someone else said, assuming the electronics were well secured, that mofo would continue to walk.

Just to make sure... we're talking about arnold here, right?

(not a typo of t-1000?)

I know they changed the name of the arnold model a couple times.

Unless I'm mistaken, it was T800 in the first movie and later they changed it to T-101?

(I may be way off here, it's been a while)

I think the model number was T800 and the serial number (the one that identifies T800s) was T101.

I'm not sure...

Oh wait, here we go:

series 800 (t800) as opposed to 600 series or 1000 series
model 101 (CSM-101) cyberdine systems model 101

EDIT: so who are we talking about?

T101 or T1000?

(as I don't think there's a T100 unless I'm missing something)

T101

Ok, in that case I'm voting no

High energy plasma was an excellent medium of force projection, it killed quickly, often in rather untidy ways, and near misses could cause severe burns. Plasma became SKYNET's fire which it would use to cleanse itself of the human pestilence.

This is true.

Do you happen to remember the designation on the machines in Terminator 3? The ones with the treads. I think they had a T series number, but I cannot recall what it was if they did.
