Yes, there are many people who do not text message but get unwanted messages. Guess what, there is no way to block text messaging so they're out a cool $1 for every ten unwanted messages. Not a big geal?Originally posted by: Ghettocowboy
I get charged $0.30 on a monthly average, I guess I can live with that, I really hate text messaging.

Extrapolate that nation wide, and you'll see how cell phone companies are cashing in on text message spam big time. What can be done about that?

Tmobile doesn't charge you for messages they send you... so your argument of not opening them doesn't really work.. I'm not sure if opening or not has any impact on being charged. I think it doesn't but someone can prove me wrong.

T-Mobile reps have being saying for years that you get charged for someone sending you a message regardless of whether you read it or not and that there is no way you can block text messages or avoid being charged for the privilege of receiving spam.Originally posted by: Cassius
