Maybe I am not the target customer but this new plan looks like complete garbage:
"Unlimited" talk, txt, data
$70 1st line + $50 2nd line + $20 line 3-8

*Notes:
Forced BingeOn (480p video stream only). To get HD video is +$25/line!
Unlimited Hotspot (at 2G speed), otherwise it is +$15 for 5GB. So basically $15 for hotspot.

Hopefully they don't mess around with their prepaid plans.

Looking at their fact sheet it does look like they plan on dropping the current prepaid pricing plans.

Who Gets It

• New postpaid customers will be able to get T-Mobile ONE starting Tuesday, September 6th.
• New prepaid customers will be able to get T-Mobile ONE in the future.
• Current T-Mobile customers can keep the plans they have or choose to sign up with T-Mobile ONE. It’s their call.

Yeah not a fan of these plans, and seems like I'm going to have to stick with my family's current plan, which is fine considering we're all using the free 2gb data tier, so it's 6 lines for $120.

It absolutely is a garbage plan, assuming you stream video frequently enough or use hotspot enough.

I switched to Ting to try and save more money, but I guess if I switch anywhere else it will be to Fi.

This plan should be good for the majority of users, but it's not good for power users who require tethering (2G tethering is borderline useless) or users who demand the best streaming video quality. They also released this right before the new iPhones (and Nexuses or Nexii?) come out, which is strategic.

It is not good for people that don't use a lot of data either.

Their current 2GB plan is $50, 6GB plan is $65. I am not sure who it is good for.

Same here. I have 3 lines with unlimited everything and each has 7gb tethered. I'm good.
